What better way to experience New York, a port that has welcomed generation upon generation of newcomers, than through the eyes of a child? Get to know the city inside and out, from icons such as Times Square and the Brooklyn Bridge to hidden treasures of Little Italy and Chinatown. Manhattan is an island, and you'll marvel at its one-and-only skyline during a voyage around New York Harbor by boat. Field trips to the American Museum of Natural History and Central Park provide a look at the inner workings of New York, past and present. No one looks forward to summer more than young people, and nothing could be more rewarding than grandparents and grandchildren sharing an adventure in the country’s most exciting city.

This intergenerational program is for Exploritas participants and young adventurers ages 9-12; one child per adult. Adults are responsible for the children they bring.
